Miisu Piipari: Closer to Jesus – On a Journey into the Prophetic
The purpose of this book is to help you, born-again child of God, to grow in the prophetic on a personal
level and/or to lead a prophetic prayer group. I approach the prophetic above all from the point of view of
one’s personal Christian life as well as prayer ministry. Because the foundation and basis for everything
prophetic has to be in the Word of God, the Bible, this book contains a great number of Bible passages to
study in the leading of the Holy Spirit either by yourself and/or with your group.
The book you’re holding is based on my series called Lähemmäksi Jeesusta (Closer to Jesus). You can
watch the series with English subtitles on channel TV7 at tv7.fi/arkki. First watch the episode and
then read the corresponding chapter in the book. At the end of each chapter there are exercises with which
you can practice the prophetic as well as hearing the voice of God.
My prayer is that you’ll get a good, strong biblical foundation for the prophetic, learn to appreciate it
and get to grow increasingly closer to Jesus.
