  4. Legal basis and the purpose of personal data usage
    The legal basis for the personal data usage according to the general data privacy policy of the EU is – personal agreement (documented, voluntary, personalized, conscious and unequivocal). The purpose of the personal data usage is to keep in contact with the members of the interest group. Information is not used for automatized decision making or profiling.

    Information saved to the registry is: name, contact information (phone number, e-mail address, mailing address), web-page addresses, IP-address of the internet access.
  6. Regular sources of information
    Information saved by the registry is received from a customer for example from the messages sent by the www-forms, by e-mail, by phone, by social media, by contracts, by personal appointments and by other situations where a customer gives out any personal information.
  7. Giving out information regularly and transferring the data outside the EU or ETA
    Information is not regularly given out to other sources. Information can be published as it has been mutually agreed with a customer.
  8. The principles of protecting the registry
    The registry is handled with care and information processed with data systems are protected adequately. When registry information is kept on the internet servers, the physical and digital data security of the equipment is taken care of  the registry appropriately. The owner of the registry takes care of the handling the saved information and the licenses of the servers and other critical information related to personal data security confidentially and only by those workers who are assigned for that.
  9. Right for inspection and right to require the information to be corrected
    Every person in the registry has the right to check the information saved about them in the registry and to require the possible false information to be corrected or the inadequate information to be completed. If a person wants to check the information saved about him/her or require a correction, the request needs to be sent in written form to the owner of the registry. The owner of the registry may ask the person sending the request to prove his/her identity if needed. The owner of the registry will reply back to the customer in a time frame set by the data security policy of the EU (mostly within a month).
  10. Other rights related to the processing the personal information
    Person in the registry has the right to ask his/her personal information to be removed from the registry. People in the registry also have all other rights according to the general data privacy policy of the EU as for example limiting the processing of the personal information in specific cases. The requests need to be sent in written form to the owner of the registry. The owner of the registry may ask the person sending the request to prove his/her identity if needed. The owner of the registry will reply back to the customer in a time frame set by the data security policy of the EU (mostly within a month).
